The ministry of the interior participated in the Formuls1 festival (4, 5, 6 April 2008) and as one of its directorate the General Directorate of Traffic presents many booklets, leaflets and posters each with different topics and distribute simple gifts.
In the location the ministry exhibited three patrol cars showing the new techniques that are used to capture any violation. In addition, they exposed the traffic kids website, the website characters were there (Waee, Hathera, Danger, Stop).
Many important personalities visit the location like: Shaikh Naser Bin Hamad Al Khakifa, Shaikh Mohammed Bin Isa Al Khakifa, Minister of Finance, Abdul Lateef Al Zaiany the chief of public security, Shaikh Fawaz Bin Mohammed Al Khakifa and many of the audience children and their parents.
