The acting director of the General Directorate of Traffic lt.Col Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa bin Subah Al Khalifah that the General Directorate of Traffic continues its traffic campaigns on various streets and highways to ensure that everyone is committed to the traffic rules and regulations to maintain the lives of all road users.

     Saying that the General Directorate of Traffic has catch the 33451 offences in May, these includes 1471 offences of the use of mobile phones while driving by hand,  1214 offences crossing the red lights, 6580 offences to exceed the speed limit on the street, 2255 offences for not using seat belts, 395 offences of over loading,  192 offences of seating children in the front seat who are under ten years, 1066 offences of failing to keep to right  line, and 258 offences of wrong side.
