Educational Traffic Activities during the Arabic Traffic Week                  4/5/2009   Major Moussa Isa Dosari Director of the Training and Public Relation Affairs Directorate of the General Directorate of Traffic said that the General Directorate of Traffic has prepared many educational activites during the Arabic Traffic Week for this year 2009 which it theme is “Wrong overtaking .. uncertain future” in the period 4 -10 may 2009. Major Moosa Al Dosari that the General Directorate of Traffic used this important traffic occasion held by the Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers annually to concentrate on the traffic problem that the Arab states attempts to find solutions through concentrating on their reasons and the goal everyone is working to achieve which is the Traffic safety to everybody. Assuring that the Training and Public Relation Affairs Directorate look forward to embodiment the slogan “Wrong overtaking .. uncertain future” through showing up all the pictures and problems of the wrong overtaking, emphatic that invasion the traffic rules and regulation considered wrong overtaking may cause serious accidents or even fatal ones, clarifying that the General Directorate of Traffic has prepared many activities and lectures in the Schools of Kingdom and all road users clarifying that many leaflets and brochures has been designed and made for this occasion. He said as well that from the activities done a traffic activity in Salah Al Deen Girls Primary School, where the number of student have attend the lecture was 92, and 300 person attend the traffic exhibition, also another traffic activity was done in Hamad Town Girls Secondary School. Major Moussa Isa Dosari Director of the Training and Public Relation Affairs Directorate assures that the Directorate will continue its activities during the whole week in the different schools to distribute the traffic awareness and create an aware generation to achieve the traffic safety, wishing everyone to adhere the traffic rules and regulation.
