The
Lt. Colonel Khaled Rabia Sinan Al-Dosari the
director of Licesnes Affairs Directorate said
that the General Directorate of Traffic begun to
restore its taxi meters, "taxi", and that the
Licenses Affairs Directorate has allocated a
working group from the Inspection Department to
re-program the all the licensed taxis in Kingdom
of Bahrain.
Lt. Colonel Khaled al-Dossari stressed that the
re-programming came after experiencing the new
meters system in coordination with the
manufactured company of the metering system
through the introduction of new programming in a
very precise to ensure the safety of the
passenger and the driver, pointing out that the
start of the working group has already done on
Monday January 19, when they had 85 as the
programming on the first day of work.
He also stressed that all taxis should program
their cars and assure that the General
Directorate of Traffic has not and will not
tolerate any violation of traffic rules and
regulations, wishing traffic safety for all.
