A Fatal Accident on Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Highway

The General Director of the General Directorate of Traffic Lt. Col. Sheikh Abdul Rahman Bin Sabah Al-Khalifa said that the Traffic Directorate had received a call on Sunday, 28th February, 2010 about a fatal accident on Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Highway at exactly 9.09 pm which its victim was an Asian comer at the age of 37 years was crossing the street from the north to the south by crossing the right lane, middle, and when he arrived to the third lane, the car (from east to west) coincided with the pedestrian, and without the driver attention the car collided the pedestrian. Immediately, been investigated in the accident scene, but unfortunately the incident perpetrator escaped and there were no witnesses to give any information.

Sheikh Abdul Rahman Bin Sabah Al-Khalifa said that the traffic patrols and after a thorough inspection for the accident scene, they found part of the car show its color type kind, where a specialized team was formed from the General Directorate of Traffic in order to research and investigate about that car and inform all the patrols and securities to find it, and in less than two hours the General Directorate of Traffic was reported by the security of the North Governorate by the presence of the suspect vehicle in the area of Hamad Town which was parked near one of the houses and has damages and effects of an incident, furthermore the owner was investigated for the damages and faced with the evidences to admit the accident.
 
It is noteworthy that the General Directorate of Traffic has faced during the year 2009 a remarkable rise in the rate of pedestrian accidents, which their victims were the lives of a significant proportion of the infantry and accordingly the General Directorate of Traffic had implemented number of awareness campaigns in all languages to encourage pedestrians for the need to adhere to the proper steps of crossing the road and choosing the right place for transit in order to reduce incidents as well as guide motorists of the need to reduce the speed at pedestrian crossings and giving them the right to transit.
 

 

Transferring workers in unprepared vehicles.. A traffic accident cause a hemiplegia to a passenger

On Tuesday, April 28 a car accident resulted in a hemiplegia to an Asian nationality passenger, where the details of the accident indicate that a vehicle of type (six wheel) was led on the King Faisal Highway, from west to east at eight thirty in the evening, in the vehicle there were five passengers, two in the front and three in the rear seats, the driver was driving in the right lane and because he did not take enough caution while driving as well as the sudden stoppage of the traffic movement, the driver who is a 29-year years old, he used the brakes suddenly and strongly, leading to throwing the passengers in the rear seats and one of them hit a metal barrier behind the vehicle and cause him a serious injury in the neck led to hemiplegia.

It is important to mention that the General Directorate of Traffic noted more than once through all the different media how dangerous and seriousness is the use of unprepared vehicles in transporting passengers, mentioning that the decision of preventing such transportation will be applied starting from 1st May, 2009, to decrease the serious and fatal accidents, thus according to Article 80 of the penalties from traffic law No. (9) for the year 1979 provides that "Without prejudice to the measures in this law the punishment is imprisonment for not more than six months and a fine of not more than one hundred dinars, or both for anyone who committed an act of the following acts:

A horrific traffic accident on the bridge of Sheikh Hamad bridge

5 people were killed in a horrific car accident on the bridge of Sheikh Hamad, said the acting director of operations and control traffic room of the General Directorate of Traffic, and the accident took place on the bridge of Sheikh Hamad, where a coming car from Manama hit the pavement for lack of attention and control by the driver, causing it to veer toward the next side street and cause a collision with another car, of type (Jeep Chorauki) led to a deterioration in the jeep and veer to the another street and hit three other vehicles, and the accident  resulted in death (4) people were in the jeep, aged 50 and 45 and 27 and a boy aged 4 years, three of whom are Bahrainis and one a citizen of Iran, as well as the death of the driver of a car, of the type (B.M.W), one of an Arab nationality, age (46) years and slightly injuries of others. And once the traffic was informed of the accidents the security traffic patrols went to the meant place with supervision of officers from the Traffic Directorate, as well as the ambulances began to rescue the wounded.
And the General Directorate of Traffic regrets such tragic incidents, they extends heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the deceased families.

 

A traffic accident in Abu Qwa intersection

A serious traffic accident occurred in Abu Qwa intersection as a result of the high-speed, the driver (Bahraini) gad separate injuries and was taken to the hospital directly, once traffic police arrive to the scene of the accident start their investigation, where the Bahraini drivering Toyota (Cressida) car came with high speed from Jid Hafs toward Abu Qwa intersection could not control the car and thus hit the rear of a parked car Toyota (Corolla) at the traffic light intersection.

 

An accident on Seef Intersection

An accident between three vehicles take place in the intersection of the Seef bridge which block the traffic movement, the cause of the accident was because of the sudden stop of a car in the center of the intersection leading to the Seef Mall, which led to the collision of a truck directly behind the rear of the first car, as well as a third car hit the rear of the truck where the driver was unable to avoid that collision, it should be noted that the three drivers of vehicles from Asian origin.

Damages: the damage caused by the accident was only into the involved cars, the was no human injuries.

The traffic crane separated the two cars from each other, as well as the traffic police start investigating the accident causes immediately.
 

 

A traffic accident between two motorcycles

A traffic accident between two motorcycles resulted in the death of one, whose age does not exceed the 18 year old after he was seriously wounded in the head.

The incident took place on Street 40 in Arad area at around seven in the evening, a young 18 year old man has fallen victim to a seriously wounded in the head led to his death immediately, and the accident caused serious injuries to the second driver. The traffic patrols had immediately began to find out the accident causes, and that the General Directorate of Traffic regrets for such incidents that kills young people who are the backbone of our country.

 

Serious Injuries to a Four Wheels Motorcycle Driver

A traffic accident led to a very serious physical injuries to a driver of a motorcycle with four wheels.

The Control Room of the Operations and Traffic Control has received a notification at 4.30 am of a serious traffic accident, and as soon as received the notification, the patrols went directly to the accident place where they found that it was an accident for a motorcycle with four wheel, the driver is 32 years old, a Bahraini nationality was driving his motorcycle in a residential area - west Krzkan roundabout without using a helmet and because of the high speed and non-restrictive to the traffic safety requirement. The driver hit by stones therefore he was threw away from the motorcycle and his head hit by a large stone, which led to the very serious injuries in the head and the body.

 

Road accident on Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman

Bahraini youth was separate injuries after his car from the type of deterioration‮ (Corvette)  ‮ heikhS halifaK nib namlaS yesterday afternoon ‮.‬
The breakdown shows that the young man was driving his car heading towards Manama, but the car lost control and hit the iron ‮ ‬ barrier separating the tracks from the left and then hit a palm tree on the pavement to deteriorate and settled upside down on its ‮ ‬ in the street and wounded Driver injured sporadic ‮.
